Dear Parents,
Welcome to Chabad at IC!
As a parent, you probably have mixed feelings about sending your child away to college and into an unfamiliar environment, away from the comforts and warmth of home.
Going away to college is a priceless opportunity to mature and thrive intellectually, socially and politically. For Jewish students, it is also an opportunity to deepen and broaden one's Jewish identity and enhance a sense of commitment and responsibility to the greater Jewish community - on campus, at home, across America, and throughout the world.
At Chabad, your child will be welcomed with the warmth of family. We're here to be a home away from home and a safe space where your child can connect and spend time with fellow Jewish students. We strive to create meaningful relationships with every student that walks through our door. Whether it's for some delicious matzah ball soup when under the weather, homey Shabbat dinners, volunteering and educational opportunities or just for a shoulder to lean on - we are committed to caring for your child 24/7.
We are very excited that your child is here, and we look forward to an amazing few years together. We are here for you and your child for anything that might be needed - we'd be so happy to assist in any way possible! Feel free to contact us and let us know what's on your mind - or just say hi and introduce yourself!
With best wishes,
